During my four years as Supervisor, I have fought to replace our current, only-in-San Francisco payroll tax with a gross receipts tax used in dozens of cities. 

I want to take a moment to thank you for helping our re-election campaign. We significantly surpassed our fundraising goals and received over $140,000 before the June 30th deadline. Your support has been remarkable, and I cannot thank you enough.

From Pride weekend to Supreme Court decisions around the Affordable Care Act and civil rights for immigrants, this has been a long week for all of us, including requests from candidates inching towards June 30 fundraising deadlines

We are 4 days away from the most important fundraising deadline of the election season.

It is Pride season once again and I am honored to be marching alongside LGBT community leaders, supporters and friends in San Francisco's Annual Pride Parade.
